What to Know About Web Development
August 8th, 2007
Web development companies are dissapearing in a rapid decline as people are becoming more aware of what to ask before choosing a company to put their business on the web. Even though more people are aware there are still a handful of business owners who don’t know better yet and need a bit of coaching to understand what to look for.
Here are things you should look for in a web development:
- Check if they are listed with the Better Business Bureau. This may seem simple enought, but anyone can make a website and offer a service so it is better to check if they are actually a business or not.
- Make sure you can contact the web development company via phone and email and see what the response time is. You may find in some cases that calling gets you to an answer machine and if they are a popular company the response for phone may be a bit slow, so make sure to do both email and call.
- Ask to see samples of past work and current projects, this will help you see progress of growth
